PHOS-PREP PP 932 Low Foaming Heavy Duty Cleaner
The PHOS-PREP® PP 932 sulphuric acid based cleaner/etch has been specially formulated to remove scales and tarnish from aluminium to produce a chemically clean surface.
PHOS-PREP PP 920 NF Dry-In-Place Polymer
PHOS-PREP® PP 920 is a “dry-in-place” replacement for chromate-based products for the pre-treatment of aluminium and aluminium alloys.
PP920 provides excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance after subsequent painting or powder coating.
Can accommodate upto 6.5 meters.
The environmentally friendly cold galvanising system is a one pack coating that provides cathodic protection to ferrous metals and an ideal primer for powder coating.
It can be applied by brushing, spraying and as an aerosol, it is therefore ideal for all ferrous metals and avoids the need for hot-dip galvanisation or metallisation
The system, used is known as the Zinga system, is not toxic and can be used with potable water, in accordance with the standard BS6920.
This system is an alternative to Zinc hot dip galvanising where the waste product is hazardous and has to be disposed in accordance with the statutory regulations.
Our newly installed plant has very efficient burners, combined with the track length will allow a faster through put and increased capacity.
There are three static ovens capable of dealing with items up to 7.5 metres in length.
All the ovens are equipped with the latest extraction equipment making for a comfortable environment to work in.

Powder coating is a versatile surface treatment available in a wide range of colours and finishes.
The process uses electrostatic attraction, creating an electric field between negatively charged powder particles and the item being coated, which causes the particles to adhere to the metal surface. The metal is then heat-treated, enabling the coating to flow, and creating an attractive, even and hard-wearing finish.
The powder coating process begins with a series of pre-treatments that clean the metal and prepare its surface for optimum adhesion. Items are loaded onto a frame and manually processed through our auto wash, before being loaded on to a conveyor. The powder coating is applied manually for the best results, before being cured in the oven at a temperature of 160 to 200 degrees C for around 20 minutes.
When cool enough to handle, the parts are checked for quality and packed according to customer requirements.

We have invested in this state of the art touch screen on line control panel. This keeps the oven to the correct curing temperature, as this is critical to ensure the powder is fully cured. This also helps to reduce our carbon footprint.
